| Hi Steve, Unfortunately, on US R17 models, switches are different of europeans one. In fact, lots of spare parts are specifics ! | Thank you for the offer of help! This will be a challenge for us all. Keeping our cars on the road and running. I saw on a wiring diagram the US Power window switches look like they have 5 connectors. BMW Power window switches from 1981-1992 also have 5 connectors. I am wondering if they operate the same? I would need a wiring diagram for both. Michel tomorrow I should be getting some pictures. If my luck holds also my other 73 R17 1313 gets delivered. Here she is on the trailer being shipped to me on Friday. I hope she is nice as my Yellow 72/73 - Siorc a écrit:

| I think it is possible I now have the same year cars and colors as Michel I will make a post on the parts wanted section, but I need almost all the parts and fuel injection wiring harness for the Red/Orange 73. Any help would be appreciated. Other option is to convert to a carburetor. Any help there is also appreciated. Steve - michel bizet a écrit:

| I have been slowly cleaning the car. We have a product in the US called "Simple Green" It is a non harmful cleaner used in Hospitals and cleans really well. I have also cleaned the carpets and I will have a picture of them soon, Soon we expect another 20cm of snow so this will slow my progress Thank you all for the kind words. Steve - funkyvinz a écrit:

Steve I am from Australia. I have been on this and other French sites for some years. I use Google translate and translate my English message into French. Then I also put the English version. The reason is that once I just put the French version. It was unintentionally translated into some thing insulting. If both are there then at least some one can correct what you say in French, so that it will not be misunderstood. Also I have found short sentences work best in Google translate. I hope what I have said may be of assistance.
You have nice cars, good luck with parts, it is difficult away from France with Renaults but these days with internet so much easier than before. |

I make my posts in both languages in the future. I'm sure something has not translated the way I meant :-) Steve - flocar a écrit:

| Hi all, I have started the exterior clean up. I am so surprised how nice it has started to shine. Here is a sneak preview. The silver lines are the reflection in the paint from the metal on the garage walls. |

In France, I don't know if there is still a gordini as beautiful as yours that has not been restaurated. It's like trying to find an unicorn... very impressing indeed.
