Also today my friend and I went to a what is called the Forney Museum of Transportation.

Its a must see in Colorado if you are into cars and some trains.

Last night and today I finished putting my Gal on her diet.

She is now much closer to her original svelte French self.

I did this to my 1976 about 38 years ago.

I cannot even remember doing it, as in doing the swap (the mechanical work).

I am not sure what is next, ah yes, go for a drive

Thank you Amicale for helping me find the parts and information I need to remove the old bumpers. I am not sure I will keep the original bumpers, I know there are a few people, one in Canada and one in Mexico who need the bumpers for their restorations, I would rather them have them to complete their cars.

I am not sure you could see the license plate frame that came with 72 R17 that I sold last year. This is perfect for me as my last name is "Diamond"

My new neighbor came by a few days ago who never saw the cars and asked if I owned a Renault Car Dealership. I had to smile as we have not had Renaults here for I think 30 years

I should not have a problem except for the actual loss of protection.

My car is registered as a Vintage Automobile.

So it is not emission tested or safety tested. You pay a higher fee for registering it, once every 5 years, but no actual inspection.

In the US each state has its own rules for insurance and registration. Some like California also have their own emission rules. Makes it every hard for the car manufacturers.
