Hi Steve. I love your blue R17 avatar. It looks just like the "73 r1313 my dad owned (and I drove) back in the late '70s, early '80s. I miss that car and am currently trying to find one in restorable condition.

Sorry for the late response. I have been out of town. Thank you for the story and compliment.

There are R17's, they seem to fall into two categories.

1) Cars like mine that had very solid bones and were taken to as new as possible without breaking the bank.
2) The other group seems to be cars that need quite a bit of work.

Just saw this.

I will have to check brownie.

Bluie actually has the later Bosch L Jetronic not Bosch K which our cars have.

I do not think this injection system was ever offered on European R17's

I'll check tomorrow.

             yes the 1316 and 1326 are fitted  a  L JETRONIC BOSCH  and reserved only for the american market
      for the electronic box  you can find on others cars  example   vw cox 1.6  porsche 914  2L  fiat 124 spider  
and also  a french car  citroen cx gti 2400   i had to try  this one  and the engine start   just a problem  for the consumption of gasoline  need to reduce the pressure  with  a adjustable  regulator  pressure

It's the same as on the European versions

i have two parts numbers  bosch      R1326  1976  :  0 280 000 110
                                                         R1326  1978  :  0 280 000 157

I will try to check , somethings after my medical procedure that were very simple I have to wait. I will see if I can do later next week.
