Does anyone have any information on the availability of replacement alternators for Paris- Rhone Type A 13R 125 , 12 Volt 50 Amp part number 77 00 559 308?
Even rebuild kits with rectifier, brush holder and bearings would be useful.
Or, suitable three-wire 12V/50 Amp equivalent replacement (Valeo/Bosch/Delco, etc) that work with EXTERNAL electro-mechanical voltage regulator (Ducellier type) with connections
B+, B- and EXC
These three wire alternators with external voltage regulators were common on early (mid 70's) Renault models.

PS, I found a nice exploded view diagram from Paris-Rhone (Alternator A 13 R 63 Renault R16 et TS -12V) that is for a 12V 40 Amp alternator working with a type AYB218 voltage regulator 79.343 that were mounted on R 16 and R16 TS from 1971 onwards. These are very similar to alternators mounted on R 12s. Maybe someone has the exploded diagram for Paris-Rhone A 13 R 125 showing all the parts and part numbers.
