Tomorrow, I will be showing my 1995 BMW 540i to someone to buy.

I found out he is from France and when I told him I have two Renault 17's he was so excited he could not wait to see the cars!!

He has a Blue R1323 years ago!!

I ended up not taking any pictures. I talked way too much and had such a nice time. I do not think he will buy my car

But that is OK.

He is new to Colorado, in fact his cars are still in France!

I will introduce him to my friends here.

I told him about Amicale and what a great group of friends I have

Hi all,

Last Saturday I started the process of replacing and repairing the fuel system on my car.

This all started when I changed the fuel filter and the gas looked like coffee with including some coffee grains

I knew I was in borrowed time. So I was very lucky.

I find a new friend in our car circle who has a garage at his home which can hold 5 cars and has a lift

So last saturday we removed the gas tank. All the bolts had frozen (rusted on) and were very difficult to removed.

The fuel drain plug also completely rusted and when we went to removed the whole plug came out.

Gas every where. But we got the tank off, cut the bolts off without setting the car, garage or house on fire.

After the tank dried out this is what came out. Wow, this seems like a lot of rust and a white wax like substance??

I took the tank to one of the few shops left in Colorado that repairs and refurbishes old gas tanks.

Our EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has closed most

I hope they car restore my tank.

I also brought my friends Volvo 1973 P1800 ES tank for repair also.

Here are a few pictures of what came out of my tank.

The plan is to change all the fuel lines, fuel hoses, injectors and re-install the restored gas tank.

I tell my friends this was the new way to lighten the gas tank.

I have the tank at a shop working on it.

Today two of my good friends and I visitied the Shelby Car Museum.

There were several Lemans Winners there, this museum is very special as it is owned and run by private owners. No factory support.

Here are a few pictures.

I was very very lucky, before they passed away, I got to meet Phil Hill, Carroll Shelby, I also got to meet Dan Gerber and Bob Bondurant at the museum during a special day they had there.

The museum is less than 4km from my house

Later today as it is 0;22 in the morning I will be working on my 74 with friends.

I have known Rob for 20 years. My friend in the picture.

He is a very very nice guy and a very good mechanic too!!

He is also an engineer and is working in Colorado for the next 6 weeks, he will help on my 74 17 next time we get together.

I just got back from SEMA.

I think I have posted some pictures before.

This is the most fun car show in the United States. Almost 400,000 square meters!

It is held in Las Vegas, so much fun. My friends took a few pictures,
