New to forum from Boulder USA Past Owner of 74 & 76 Gordini

Hi all,

Today my wife and myself and the dog went for a little ride.

It was the first day with no rain in two weeks.

Here are some pictures.

Hi all,

Today started out cloudy and cold but became a beautiful day!

We had our monthly get together over 300 cars showed up.

We know winter in Colorado is around the corner.

We already had snow in the mountains!

Here are a few pictures, I will find better ones and post, I am always too busy enjoying the cars and friends.

I also today met my first person at the show from France. He has a 1988 BMW M6 and I met him there to give him some of my old BMW parts.

He learned to drive on a Renault 4.

He said my car looked better than new in many ways!

I thanked him and told him about my Amicale friends

It has been a fantastic day.

ever in France, they aren't so currently in the middle of the Oldies.

I have never seen another R17 at any car show.  

There are I think about 6 running R17's in the US.

I have only see one other Renault, an R5, at a car gathering.

I know the owner.

I have seen a handful of Citroen SM's

I have made friends with a very nice person named Azul who is restoring a 1972 USA R17, it is green and he is doing a fantastic job with the restoration. I think when done, the car will look like Armando's Black 1979, he is also friends with Armando and lives in Miami.

Here is a picture of his car before he starts the restoration.

And if it possible to have sometimes, some informations about his evolution.

You don't have anymore pictures about the green 1972 in Florida?

Just these, if the rest of the car comes out this nice, this will be one of the nicest R1313's around, maybe better than new

Thank you, but this is actually Azul's engine as part of his restoration.

His car will be maginificant when done, I am sure!
