Hello my friends,

I am still basking in the happiness of meeting you all in Lyon.

Dee Dee and I cannot wait for the next gathering.

Sunday I met in person my first R17 friend who restored this US 1972 R17 (TS).

I posted some pictures, the car is simply amazing. His skills as a artisan are fantastic.

Azul is his name and he is very very nice. He helped me get my Manifold Pressure Sensor calibrated so my car runs much better.

I wanted to share these pictures with you.

I am encouraging him to come to Lyon next year with us

PS Does anyone have or know where to find the Cosmic wheel adapters??

I would like to get some or anyone ever make them??

What's on the triangular window's doors ?

Azul removed the glass from the front door and replaced it with plexiglass with these small vent doors which he added to help keep the car cool.

He lives in Miami which always has 100% humidity and in the winter can still be 80F

He would love to add AC, as I would too.

So another question, does anyone know of a maker or builder of wheel spacers for our cars.

I think Azul's car looks great with them they are about 20mm.

Today she is on her way to Boulder Colorado.

She needs some work but is in very nice condition!!

Thank you for the offer. I just got a call from the shipper she is supposed to be here tomorrow.

I don't think I want to trade her, but you never know.

I might consider for a R1327 that is the closest to my 1976 US R1326 and what I really wanted for the longest time.
