| Well slightly. About a year ago I had the car wrapped. The color was as close as I could get to the original color. The original paint is still underneath the wrap. Steve - Quinou a écrit:

| Help needed,
I short time ago, I go to my garage to show my 75 Gordini to my friend, I mounted my refurbished Chromadora Wheels, I will post pictures.
I went to open my hood (bonnet) and the hood only releases from the drivers side, the passenger side remains locked. :-(
I recall there is a procedure, I Believe I have done it once, where from underneath the car you push up on the release latch (mechanism) with a piece of wood or a long screw driver.
Does anyone have a link to this procedure?
Thank you very much for your help my friends.
Amicale,
Steve |

| Problem solved, the book pictured approach was not working for me. Access from the bottom without a lift and clearance was very limited. I used Michel's suggestion of removing the headlight trim and removing the front hood bolts. With a long flat piece of steel I had I was able to release the latch. Hood released. The problem was the cable was slipping from the nylon mounting point. I used a zip tie, what we call in the US and secured the end of the cable in a way it would not slip. Life is good, thank you my friends. I also continue to play with wheels for me car. I have had these Gotti wheels for some time. Michel sent them to me and then I had them repaired in the US. But I wanted different colors. I originally repainted in Silver, but have tried one in white to see how it looks and how it changes the personality of the car. While it took me about 3 days for the first wheel, I only have limited time to work on the wheel, I am happy with the results. I will post pictures when I get farther along with a second wheel and then mount on one side to see the look of the car I hope all is well with my friends, Covid is on a rampage here. Be well my friends, Steve |

| My next request Rénovation de vitre électrique I know this might sound crazy but the previous owner of my 1974 had swapped out pieces from an earlier 1973 to make a power windows on the 1974 I had which I sold :-) to a very nice guy. My question is, and I have tried to search has anyone retofitted power front windows onto our R15/R17's. Using factory parts and even the potential of non factory parts. My 1973 has them and somewhere in my parts I have the Amicale replacement gears for that day. I will have a very hard time finding them As always any and all help is appreciated. I love my cars more now than ever, I can drive them more here in Florida. Amicale! Steve |

| Hello Steve, I don't know of any difference between phase 1 and phase 2, or 73 and 74, front power windows. But hand the manual glass mechanism isn't the same for electric glass.
About the these Gotti, personally, I prefer them in 2 colors. |

| Thank you Michel. Do you know of anyone who has the power window parts for a swap? I know the likelyhood is very low but thought I would ask. Be well my friends. Amicale Steve - MichBiz a écrit:

| Ideally I would like the mechanisms (electric motor,) and wiring harness. But I could probably make a harness with a wiring diagram. The mechanisms which I assume come with the electric motors are what I will need. Thank you, Steve - MichBiz a écrit:

| Michel, Thank you, getting these would be great! The gears I did buy, but got lost in the move also, so I would need another set, perhaps I could ask for your help in repairing these, I will of course reimburse you I read the note about the motors with the mounting thoughts. This is a project I really want to complete. I know this will sound a little crazy, but it will make me closer to my dream car, which is something of importance to me. Thank you for your help.
