We will send to my house in Florida please.

I believe I have the correct power window switches.

What are your thoughts on the motors?

Do you have any old ones?

I can use them if they work or use them for a model of what could work?

Michel thank you as my friend!!

I tested motors, they are corrects Very Happy

You just have to replace the gears that I will put with it, I had kept the ones I had bought at the club for my Green and that I did not use because I mounted manual windows!

I could send in the begenning of next week.

For wiring, you will need 2 multi-strand wires (flexible wire) +12V ((section of 1.5) each starting from a fuse (15 A) and going to each of the switches that will also receive a ground wire. Switches will have to go 2 wires to the motors through the two doors.
To limit the power in the switches, you can add 2 relays per side. Perhaps to do with an automotive electrician.

Thank you very much that would be great!

Is it possible to draw a diagram of the wiring for me? I am sorry to ask I feel dumb. Sad

If I recall the switch of our cars has 4 connectors?

I copied a picture from a Maserati Biturbo which uses the same switch style and pins.

The reason I ask is I am unclear how the switch and rest of the wiring works.

This will really help me.

Thank you again!!

Steve

Yes, I will show the wiring tomorrow, using the MR 185 scheme.

I don't know this Maserati switch but warning, it must cross +12V and ground to reverse the direction of the engine.

Swith with 4 pins is correct.

My dear friends,

Thank you very very much!

I feel stupid asking this question, maybe it is the covid I am fighting.

I need help understanding how to wire the switch. The 4 pins go to what on the diagrams.

I have attached the pictures.

First the factory switch.

New to forum from Boulder USA Past Owner of 74 & 76 Gordini - Page 37 Factor11

Next the factoring wiring diagram

New to forum from Boulder USA Past Owner of 74 & 76 Gordini - Page 37 Norela10

My apologies if seems very basic, I just do not want to make any errors.

Thank you again my friends.

I cannot do this with Amicale.  cheers

Steve

No no no, a foot cut in covid lol!

Do you have the MR 185 ?

The solution :

New to forum from Boulder USA Past Owner of 74 & 76 Gordini - Page 37 20220113

After, if the direction of the arrow is not correct regarding the window, it will be necessary to reverse the 2 "motor" wires.

command wires, 0,75 mm2 to 1 mm2
Power wires, 1,5 mm2.
And use different colours Very Happy

Thank you, if I follow, using this double relay approach will move the load off the switch and most likely increase the life of the switch and efficiency of the motor.

Makes sense!

I am not for this type of relay for which there is no socket.
When you have to replace it you are forced to disconnect everything. at the risk of not putting the wires back in the right place.
5-pin relays are required.

Bonjour Amicale,

It has been a while since I have posted here. My apologies.

I have found myself on Facebook and did not mean to ignore my best friends.

I am getting my 75 ready for a Hilton Head International Concours d'Elegance in November 1-6

The US Renault Club was invited as a special mark.

Maybe some of my friends from France will come?

Here are some current pictures of my 75.

I hope all is well with all of you.

Amicale,

Steve
